A few months ago, MUST which is nine years old was ranked as the best university in Malawi by the Times Higher Education inaugural Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings in 2023.

No fewer than 51 Nigerian tertiary institutions, led by Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, have appeared in maiden Times Higher Education 2023 Sub-Saharan Africa ranking.

The only consolation for India is it has 124 universities listed in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024 - a huge jump as compared to last rankings.
